The purpose of a School Site Council is to make decisions about distribution of school funds. The group is composed of parents, teachers, and is guided by the Principal.

Fairmont's School Site Council meetings are generally the 3rd Monday of the month at 3pm. You can attend the meetings in 2 ways:
- Run for seat on the boards (information about elections are sent out at the beginning of each school year) . Seats on the board are for 2 Years.
- Attend as a member of the community.
The School Site Council is also responsible for submitting the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) year and based on this plan determines how school funds are allocated. To review Fairmont's SPSA 2018 - 2019 please click the picture below.
